Each new law/regulation/tax must be offset with the removal of a previous one.
Dear Lawmaker,
PAYGO: pay-as-you-go rule compels new spending or tax changes to not add to the federal deficit. New proposals must either be "budget neutral" or offset with savings derived from existing funds.
LAWGO: laws-as-you-go would compel each new law"regulation"tax"program would require the elimination of an equal to that laws"regulation"taxes"programs would remain neutral in the Federal Government.
Can you please take a moment to answer these questions so I can determine how you have worked to reduce the Federal Government’s burden on me?
1. Name one tax"fee"surcharge you reduced or eliminated in the last year?
a. Notice that the definition of a tax does not allow for a person to receive money as a “Tax”. A sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc.
b. Deductions and write-offs do not count as they prove that the tax was too high in the first place.
c. Only federal government charges qualify here. For example: reducing ATM fee’s is not a government fee.
2. Name one rule"regulation"mandate that you reduced last year?
a. Although some regulation is a requirement – they never seem to go away. New regulations often conflict with current regulation.
3. Name one law that you have repealed in the last year?
a. Printed out, front & back, I doubt the current laws & regulations would fit inside the average house. Certainly one can be eliminated.
b. To received a positive score here, more laws must be repealed than passed.
4. Name one program"department"bureau"etc. you have eliminated in the last year.
a. Rural ElectricAdministration was started in 1936. Has it not finished its mandate?
